Ujjain, October 25, 2026: A new chapter in Madhya Pradesh’s regional entertainment industry began today with the digital launch of OTTLA TV at the Ujjaini Film Festival 2026 in Ujjain. The platform was officially launched digitally by its Founder, Nihal Manwatkar, with the vision of providing a dedicated digital platform for regional languages, local stories, independent filmmakers, and artists.

Speaking on the occasion, Nihal Manwatkar stated that OTTLA TV aims to promote the diverse languages, dialects, and cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh. The platform will focus on providing opportunities for content in regional dialects such as Malvi, Bundeli, Bagheli, and Nimadi, along with films, web series, and other creative projects.

Explaining the vision behind OTTLA TV, Manwatkar said, “Our objective is not just to provide entertainment but to build a strong economic ecosystem for artists, filmmakers, and content creators. Talent exists in every village and small town, but many artists have to travel to major cities in search of work and financial opportunities. We want to create an ecosystem where artists can pursue their creative journeys without being forced to leave their hometowns due to financial constraints.”

He further emphasized that OTTLA TV aims to connect independent filmmakers and content creators with digital audiences while creating new opportunities for regional storytelling and sustainable income generation.

The platform also seeks to encourage creators from smaller cities and rural areas to showcase their work and bring their stories to a wider audience. By promoting regional content and local talent, OTTLA TV aims to contribute to the growth of Madhya Pradesh’s creative economy.

The launch marks an important step towards bringing the state's linguistic and cultural diversity to the digital entertainment space, giving local stories an opportunity to reach audiences beyond geographical boundaries.
